Dr. Peyvand Khaleghian is Chief Operating Officer of Mubadala Health, in which role he oversees the operational and clinical performance of the integrated healthcare network of Mubadala Health including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Healthpoint Hospital, Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Amana Healthcare, National Reference Laboratory, Capital Health Screening Centre, and Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Centre.
Prior to this role, Dr. Khaleghian was Executive Director of Amana Healthcare, the Middle East’s leading provider of long-term care, specialized rehabilitation, and home healthcare services, which he co-founded in 2012 and was acquired by Mubadala in 2019. Before this, Dr. Khaleghian had an extended career at the World Bank covering emerging healthcare markets in Asia, Europe, and the Former Soviet Union, including four years at the World Bank’s Central Asia Regional Office in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He began his career as a physician in New Zealand.
A New Zealand national, Dr. Khaleghian holds a doctorate in health policy from the Johns Hopkins University in the United States and a medical degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
