Hasan Jasem Al Nowais is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mubadala Health, an integrated network of world-class healthcare providers established to drive the sustainable development and growth of the sector in the UAE and beyond.

Guided by a vision to transform the regional healthcare landscape and the passion to serve communities, Hasan leads a team of experts to drive the Mubadala Health network, comprising a growing list of leading healthcare providers which are home to more than 11,000 caregivers. These providers currently include Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Healthpoint, Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Amana Healthcare, National Reference Laboratory, Capital Health Screening Centre, Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Centre, HealthPlus Network of Specialty Centers, Moorfields Eye Hospital Abu Dhabi and Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children.

Prior to the launch of Mubadala Health, Hasan was one of the leading forces behind the healthcare platform within Mubadala Investment Company (MIC). Hasan joined MIC in 2007, where he was responsible for overseeing international hospitality projects across the United States, the Middle East and other parts of Asia. This includes prestigious brands such as Viceroy, Four Seasons, and Rosewood. He also previously held the role of Chief Administrative Officer of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he successfully directed the operations of diversified strategic functions at the distinguished hospital. 

In tandem with his ongoing strategic and operational roles at Mubadala Investment Company, Hasan’s scope of responsibility includes the role of Vice Chairman of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Rosewood Abu Dhabi and the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, as well as serving as a board member of the Viceroy Hotel Group. He is also on the board of Yas Holding, chairman of Yas Holding Healthcare Committee, and a member of the Miral Audit Committee.

Hasan is a graduate of the American University, Washington, D.C., and holds various certifications including ones from Cornell University and Harvard Medical School. In April 2022, he was listed on the Forbes Middle East list of Top 50 Middle East Healthcare Leaders. He ranked amongst the top five names on the list, and first amongst UAE Nationals.
