Mark McGourty is the Chief Financial Officer of Mubadala Health, and oversees the business and financial aspects of the integrated healthcare network of Mubadala Health. In his role, Mark supports the financial objectives of the network’s operational performance and future growth.
Prior to this role, Mark co-founded and held the position of CEO of Amana Healthcare from its inception in 2012. Amana Healthcare is the Middle East’s leading provider of long-term care, specialized rehabilitation and home healthcare services, and it joined the Mubadala Health network of integrated world-class healthcare providers in 2019.
Mark’s career spans 30 years in senior executive positions at a range of academic, corporate and PE-backed health systems in the United States, China and the Middle East. Previous roles have included management positions at the University of Michigan Health System, the University of Pennsylvania Health System and he was appointed Regional CEO/SVP of PeaceHealth, a regional health system in the Pacific Northwest.
A US national and certified Gemba Kaizen practitioner, Mark holds a Master’s degree in Health Policy and Management from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration from Oregon State University.
